Here, you will see artistic masterpieces of El Greco and Goya.
Located in Andalusia, Granada is one of the most beautiful Spanish cities, as it consists of a mix of architectural masterpieces. Here, is the home to Alhambra Palace & Fortress. Plenty of 8th-century, 9th-century and 10th century buildings with great architecture have been constructed in Granada. Another must-see sight is the 16th-century Cathedral, where is the home to the tombs of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella.
Explore the ancient city of Cordoba, which was a part of the Roman Empire and learn about the Roman history of the city. Visit the preserved ruins and monuments, such as the 16-arch Bridge across the Guadalquivir river. Built during the 8th century, La Mezquita is the largest mosque in Cordoba, which was used as Christian church during the 13th century as well.
Another popular Spanish city with Roman history is Seville. The most famous dance in Seville is flamenco. If you like flamenco, then you have to visit the neighborhood of Tirana. Located in Santa Cruz area, the Royal Palace complex of Real Alcazar as well as the city's incredible Cathedral with its Gothic architecture are worth a visit.
Malaga is Picasso’s home. The large Museum of Picasso houses a great collection of Picasso’s paintings. Finally, another two must-see sights are the two fortresses, Alcazaba and Gibralfaro in Malaga.
