Explore the most well-known Norway’s fjord by boat. The narrower branches, like Naeroyfjord, are worth a tour, because of their extraordinary natural beauty. Close to Stavanger, there is Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). The panoramic view of Lysefjord from the top of Pulpit Rock is impressive. It is a unique life experience for all travelers. In the Stavanger area you will find the Norwegian Canning Museum and the 12th-century building of the Stavanger Cathedral, which includes many different architecture design styles.
Another popular site is the Lofoten Islands. There are many interesting activities, such as tours in the traditional fishing villages, kayaking and hiking for activities lovers. In addition, this is a suitable place for a glimpse of Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Must-see places in the Lofoten Islands are the Lofoten War Museum, the Lofoten Aquarium, the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum and the Lofoten Stockfish Museum.
Surrounded by Lake Mjøsa and Gudbrandsdal valley, Lillehammer is one of the most popular travel destinations in Norway. The open-air museum, Malhaugen Park consists of more than 100 historic buildings. Visit the Peer Gynt's Cottage, where the prototype of Ibsen's hero was living. The number of winter activities is fascinating. Skating, curling, sleigh rides and many other activities are offered by ski centers.
Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, Geirangerfjord region is one of the most scenic places in Norway. Enjoy the spectacular view from the summit of Dalsnibba. There are boat tours if you are interested in exploration of the Geirangerfjord region.
Located on the Alpine Norway’s region, the Jotunheimen covers the one of the largest areas in Scandinavia including the highest mountains. Outstanding nature’s features, like waterfalls, rivers, lakes, glaciers, and wildlife create a mix of natural wonders. More than 2,438-meter height, Galdhøpiggen is the highest national park.
Not only Oslo, but Bergen and Tromso are worth a visit as well. Look closely the impressive Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, which creates a vibrant colorful atmosphere in Bergen’s Harbor. The town of Bergen consists of middle-aged historic buildings, such as the Bryggen Museum and Hanseatic Museum that is dated back to 1872.
Settled in the 13th century, Tromso was a fishing village with its local industry. Tromso is the perfect place for the spectacular view of Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
