
The Petronas Twin Towers, a 170-meter structure with two 491-meter towers, is one of the most well-known attractions in Kuala Lumpur. Take a Petronas Twin Towers tour and explore the double-decked bridge that connects these two towers. The construction of the towers lasted seven years. Another must-see high attraction is the almost 335-meter Menara KL Tower. This spot has outstanding panoramic view.
The Batu Caves are a very sacred spot for Hindus. Here, the celebration of Thaipusam takes place every year. Specifically, Hindus carry large items and have body piercings with hooks to attach to other things. There are 272 steps if you want to go to the top where you will find three huge caves and one small that include Hindu art and statues.

Visit KL Bird Park, where you can look closely two-hundred different bird species. The park is divided into four sections. Live an unforgettable experience walking among the birds, which fly free. However, the birds in the fourth section are caged.
The Thean Hou Temple, one of the largest temples in Southeast Asia, has opened since 1989. The temple honors Thean Hou, the goddess of the sea. The view of the city is amazing and it is a lovely place for wedding photos.
Located in the center of Kuala Lumpur, Merdeka Square is also known as Independence Square because the Malaysian flag first flew here in 1957 after its independence from Great Britain. It was used as cricket field, when it was a British colony, and is surrounded by the National History Museum and the Royal Selangor Club.

Walk in Bukit Bintang, where you will find street-food and sit-down restaurants as well as Chinese food. In addition, there are many shops and their prices range from very low to very high. Another famous location is the large complex of Berjaya Times Square. A shopping center and two five star hotels are included in this 700.000 m² building complex. Here, you can find the largest indoor theme park in Asia.
Finally, if you want to see a building with colonial architecture, then you have to visit the Railway Station of Kuala Lumpur, which has been built since 1910. The cost of building construction was about $23,000.
