2. Island of Corsica, France

4. Canary Islands, Spain
Located in the Atlantic Ocean, the Canary Islands are close to the African coast of Morocco. The most well-known Canary Islands are Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro.
Tenerife, the largest island of the Canary Islands, is a famous summer holiday destination. Located in the Atlantic Ocean, Tenerife has beautiful beaches and extraordinary natural scenieres, such as the Teide National Park, the Los Gigantes Cliffs, the Loro Parque Zoo and a dormant volcano.
One of the best places to stay is the Royal Hideway Corales Beach, which is an outstanding resort in the village of La Caleta, on the Costa Adeje, in the southwest area of Tenerife. It’s a convenient place to stay and relax as well as enjoy the spectacular ocean view.

Another great cheap summer destination is Fuerteventura, which is the second largest island and it is a perfect choice for watersport-activities lovers. Moreover, there are many other outdoor activities, such as trekking in the mountains, volcanoes and natural parks like the Corralejo Natural Park. A good idea is to take a boat trip with a catamaran and explore all the magnificent sides of Fuerteventura.
Don’t forget to try Spanish dishes made with local ingredients. Must-eat foods are Papas Arrugadas (wrinkly potatoes) with dips and Queso Fuerteventura, which is the local goat cheese.
